A very picturesque trail, it leads to a 12.6 m drop of the main branch of the Muskoka River at Wilson's Falls. A walking bridge across the top of the falls gives a beautiful view of the falls. The trail winds its way through hardwood forests and pine stands.
Spectacular in the spring when the water is high and the trilliums are in bloom, this trail of varying lengths and start locations is an easy to moderate hike. There are some boardwalks and stairways.
This system has four access points. From Highway 11, take the Cedar Lane West exit. The first access is 1 km north on Cedar Lane to Macaulay Public School. The trail starts at the back of the school. Parking in the lot is permitted. The second is Sander Drive.
